With her wide ranging and silky smooth voice, singer-songwriter and producer LYNN DAVIS knew at a very early age what she wanted to do, and she had the drive and the focus to accomplish her goals. And it paid off from the start. She was already gaining major successes before she was hired, at 18 years of age, to be featured vocalist on record and on tour with jazz legend and keyboard master, GEORGE DUKE. Yes, that’s Lynn on one of many of my favorite tracks from Mr. Duke, “I Want You For Myself”. And that was hardly the beginning. Add to Lynn’s resumé, major tours and/or recordings with such greats as Stevie Wonder, Patrice Rushen, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Peabo Bryson .... Shall I go on? And her songwriter and producer credits grace a litany of artists projects that this small space just doesn’t allow me to list. And best of all, Lynn is nowhere near finished!
